About Us

Jack Auen and Kevin Walker are a directing duo originally from Baltimore, MD, now working out of New York City. They are members of the filmmaking collective and production company COSMIC SALON. 

Their films have played at various festivals around the world. Their latest film, Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World, will have its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in January 2025.

Their previous short, Roundabout, is currently being distributed by Carla Vulpiani, Enrico Vannucci, and Lara Casirati at Varicoloured HFA.

Their debut short film, Marblehead, was selected to screen in-competition at the London Short Film Festival and the Short Waves Festival (where it won the Jury Prize III and the Audience Award), and was one of a select few "Market Picks" at Clermont-Ferrand. MARBLEHEAD also played two Academy-Award Qualifying festivals (the Athens International Film and Video Festival and the Woodstock Film Festival) and won "Best Short" at the Big Apple Film Festival.
